pppoe

Any clues as to how to set up pppoe on YDL 2.3?  I've always had a 
static IP addy and this is a little beyond me.

I've tried using the Internet Configuration Wizard, but when I get 
started, it asks for a device.  I guess the device on my Powerbook is 
'BMAC' though I'm not sure.  Anyway, after trying to use the wizard, it 
ends up not connecting.

So I googled and thought I'd just type 'adsl-setup' and go from there.  
But there is no adsl-setup.
So then I tried to install rp-pppoe.  But it tells me that there's a 
version conflict between the rp-pppoe I'm installing and the one 
already installed.

So:  how do you set up pppoe on YDL 2.3?
