Netatalk and AppleTalk Printers

What you can also try, but I think it has only to do with exporting the 
printer for network use in an Appletalk environment, is the following:
add the following lines to /etc/atalk/papd.conf

Linuxprinter:\
    :pr=|/usr/bin/lpr - P 4MP:\
    :pd=/usr/share/cups/model/the_name_of_the_ppd_file.ppd

Restart atalk. You will find the printer in the Chooser on other Macs, 
or in MOL.
Linuxprinter will be the name of the Appletalk printer.
