Well, I upgraded my system to YDL 2.3. I still can't get the firewire to work.

The HOWTO says to load the ieee1394, ohci1394, and sbp2 modules. Mine 
chokes on ohci1394 with:
[root@home tmp]# modprobe ohci1394
/lib/modules/2.4.19-4a/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/ohci1394.o:

Perhaps the problem is that I'm trying to use a 3-port PCI card from 
OWC, rather than builtin Firewire. It has an Agere (Lucent) chipset, 
and I'd hoped for driver compatibility. Is there hope? Some other 
driver?
