ydl 3.0 video problems

    I got X to start but only by using the fbdev as driver and this gives me
very poor vdeo performance, i have a radeon 9000 pro 64ddr and i saw that
this card was supported, how do i get it to work?

when i put radeon as the driver it just results with a blank screen.
I have a apple 17in studio crt display connected to adc port

any help would be appreciated.
