YDL 3.0 Not installing on G4 933, Geforce4MX, ADP 15" LCD

As least the gui installer isn't running, it tries to start X and then 
goes black.  What do I have to do in order to get this thing 
installed???  I can do the text based installer, but I'd like to be 
certain that X will run after the install.  Has anyone got X running on 
a similar config???  Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
