3.0 Kernel Panic

Actually, this whole process has been something of a cluster you-know-what.

It took me about 30 hours to download everything via FTP only to have it
bomb on install.  The MD5SUMs didn't match, and then I had to go get it via
HTTP, and re-burn all the CD's.

YDL 3.0 is now running on my 12" PB, with a big but -- no Airport Extreme
support means that I don't have any wireless networking capability.
