3.0 Kernel Panic

Yes, OK, I understand, but 802.11b is a standard, and the Airport Extreme
works just fine as an 802.11b card on Mac OS X, but doesn't work at all on
Linux. Other than the Airport Extreme, I don't have, want, or care about
any 802.11g equipment, but since I can't put an old Airport card in my new
PB, I guess I'm just screwed on this.

Maybe I can get a Linksys USB 802.11b adapter. Then, I'll just have a big
wart on the side of my computer but at least it will connect.
