Well it's not important to you in one sense, if it's finished downloading,
it's finished!

BUT... Bittorrent works because enough people leave their connection open
after they've finished downloading, therefore contributing to the pool of
servers.

In short, the more people who leave it open, the faster it will be for the
rest who are still downloading, or yet to download.
