Problems Installing YDL 3.0 on beige g3 tower

Unfortunately, a similar situation is occurring with the Apple Network 
Server (specifically, my ANS 700). It appears that the anaconda 
installer cannot create devices on the fly as it is supposed to. If I 
find out more, I will report back here.
