YDL 3.0 won't boot from CD

I got the YDL 3.0 CD set to install on a Powerbook 266 (14.1" screen)
using BootX.
The settings I used are as follows.
Follow the instructions in the BootX folder on the CD. It's readable in
Mac OS 9.2. (Note the pdisk bug elsewhere in this list and at the top of
the support page at YDL's web site.
Select BootX from control panels.
select the "vmlinx2.4.20....boot kernel
click options and select force video and use ramdisk...select ramdisk.gz
click ok
select no video driver
in the arguments box, put video=atyfb,vmode:14
click Linux. It should go to the installer.
(lots of installation here)
NOTE: Watch for the bootloader screen that says you have an "Old World"
mac. NOTE THE PARTITION NUMBER OF YOUR root partition. /dev/hdaXX
where XX is the number at the bottom of that text.
When the installer is done, reboot back into Mac OS9 or whatever
Select the other kernel (without boot at the end)
Click options and deselect use ramdisk
put the hd partition location in the little box (you did write it down,
right?)
Leave the video argument the same.
Save to prefs.
Click Linux.
It should go. Good luck.

Bob
