Try going into /etc/cups/cupsd.conf and changing the LogLevel to 
"debug" (without the quotes).  Then, either "sudo killall -HUP cupsd" 
or reboot.  Try printing again and then look at the 
/var/log/cups/error_log file to see if there were any errors.
