aRts can't find /dev/dsp

Make sure that you are booting with kernel 2.4.20 and that if you are
using a rescue disc to boot that you use a 3.0 cd. I had that same
problem (I was using the ydl 2.1 disc to get into 3.0, because I didn't
like yaboot) and using the 3.0 disc and installing the 2.4.20 kernel
fixed ALL of my problems (not all, I have that OpenOffice cut & paste
problem that someone's raving about).
