Yes, I manually installed the IBM Java runtime and SDK (Java 1.4.1 I 
think) and was able to get Tomcat going. The basic example apps which 
install with Tomcat worked as expected but I haven't done any more with 
it.

If you search the list archives you'll find links to IBM's Java and 
something about an environment variable that needs to be set to make it 
work properly on G3 processors.
