Ok. I've had some other folks reply that the PPC wasn't truly bi-endian, but did some diddling of the bytes depending on the endian switch. I'm assuming that VPC on the pre-G5 had this switch associated with the process context so it could bounce in and out of little-endian mode? Yeesh. Glad I'm not having to worry about it..... Rob
