Problem with INN (inn-2.3.3-5)

I can't get inn to start. I installed inn-2.3.3-5 with yellowdog 3.0.1 and I am getting the following error in the news.crit log:

Nov 26 03:15:17 gbox innd: SERVER cant dbzinit /var/lib/news/history Numerical argument out of domain

And

Nov 26 03:04:36 gbox innd: SERVER cant dbzinit /var/lib/news/history No such file or directory


This is first distro I have ever seen the problem with. It is all that is keeping me away from switching an OS/X server back to Linux. Anyone with info, can you help?
