Q: rpm upgrade YDL 2.3 -> 3.0

Hi,

I would like to upgrade my YDL 2.3 system (which contains lots of self-=20
compiled stuff plus some old LinuxPPC RPM's) manually using rpm directly.

When I start with glibc and friends, I get the following message:

[root@antares]# rpm -Uhv librpm404-4.0.4-8x.27.ppc.rpm \
glibc-2.3.1-51a.ppc.rpm glibc-common-2.3.1-51a.ppc.rpm \

What does this message mean and how can I work around it (as librpm404 =20
seems to provide the lib)?
