Starting Samba

If you using KDE or GNOME it is easier just to go to System Settings ->
Services and enable it there.

If you want to do it from CMD Line then I would add it to:
/etc/rc.d/rc2.d/S99local

I believe that is a linked file to somewhere else though - but I add my
start up stuff in it.
