about patching a 2.2.18 kernel.  YDL 3.0 has a
2.4.20-8d kernel.  I will go hunting to see if there
is an equivalent patch for 2.4.20, but I really think
maybe it's more a configuration thing than patching. 
I am probably just overly optimistic about that tho.
