Everything is pink

Hello!

I have a 15" LCD iMac with YDL 3.0 and kernel 2.4.22.

There is a problem.

It does not look too serious, but there seems to be something wrong all the
same: in the boot log, the writing is white on black at first; then the
penguin (or dog) icon appears, and its colours are wrong (pink background);
and from there on, up to the X login panel, the writing is pink instead of
white.

Under X, everything is normal.

I should be grateful for any hints about that thing.
