IBM XL compilers

Hello all,
  Has anyone tried to use the IBM XL compilers (Fortran and/or C) with
YellowDog?  The docs I found indicated support for SuSE Enterprise V8
or higher for linux.  The only compiler I've found to date that will
handle some old fortran code we have (F77 with non-standard VMS
enhancments) is from Absoft.  I'm in the process of porting the code
to OS X as well, and will be testing the IBM betas there once I've
resolved the linking issue.  Thanks.....
