I have a USB drive, but don't know how to mount it, or how to get it
to=20

appear on my desktop, using YellowDog 3.0 on a 12-inch ibook. Any=20

advice?

Thanks so much.</bigger></color></fixed>

After you plug it in, you can mount it as root or by sudo the mount
command. But if you want to see if your drive is recognized by Linux,
then you can see it with:

more /proc/bus/usb/devices

If you find it on the list, then you just mount it as root... It may
be found on /dev/scd0 (I believe so, I don't have any drive to check
it out)

Hope this help you...
