Being that I'm over half way to the older than dirt age, most of
the systems that used SCSI back in its hey-day did prefer address 0.
Even most of the controllers that I bought in the early '90s didn't 
allow it to be set. Adaptec controllers usually cost at least twice
what a NCR/Symbios did for little to none performance increase.
