odd kernel message - what to do next?

Hi folks.

I keep seeing the following in my logs and in the console:
<date> <server name> kernel: svc: bad direction 268435456, dropping request

Always the same "direction" (is this an address?)

Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Or how to find out?
