zip drives

Sorry about last post
Here we go again:
Mac 8600/300 tower upgrade with a sonnet G4 400Mhz proc card
The zip drive is an internal drive( scsi )I think.
The kernel is 2.4.22-2g.
I also have a external(scsi) zip drive,but it is unhooked from computer for 
now.
