I'm having a bit of trouble compiling my kernel. I followed the
directions at
http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/support/solutions/ydl_general/
kernels.shtml but cannot get the 'make modules_install' step to work,
without the apostrophes, obviously. The error is as follows:
INSTALL drivers/net/3c59x.ko
cp: cannot stat 'drivers/net/3c59x.ko': No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [drivers/net/3c59x.ko] Error 1
make: *** [_modinst_] Error 2
My source code came from kernel.org and I am using Yellow Dog 3.0.1.
Does anybody know what's wrong?
