Airport?

No-one came back with any suggestions on my airport problem. To recap: 
after having everything working fine for several days (including 
reboots), on a subsequent boot the following error messages displayed 
when eth1 was being brought up: SIOCSIFFLAGS: Input/output error. I 
can't find any meaningful information about that. I've also tried 
removing it, booting, and then replacing it. Same result.

Can anyone think of anything?

System: 800Mhz G3 iBook, YDL 3.0.1.
