after recovering partition using fsck.ext3 it deleted me rc scripts

Dear YDL list,

after doing fsck.ext3 -yp /dev/hda4 (my / partition) it found some errors 
and it deleted some files rc.sysint and other rc.scripts.. how can i 
manage having my system back without having to reinstall all the 
distribution? how can i manage reinstalling only the basic system 
packages?
