PCMCIA Modem on Powerbook 3500 (Kanga)

Hi,

I just installed YDL3.0.1 on a Powerbook 3500 (Kanga). The only problem so far 
is that the Global Village 56K PCMCIA Modem Card is not working. The card was at 
first not seen by the system. I set PCMCIA=on and PCIC=yenta_socket in 
/etc/sysconfig/pcmcia which made the card visible but it is still not recognized 
as a modem. A cardmgr message in one of the log files about a missing 
serial_cs.o file may be relevant. Anyone know the trick to making this work?
