No joy installing YDL on iMac

Having a heck of a time installing YDL 4.0 on a iMac DV 450 (640 Megs 
ram)

YDL boots, but can't get to GUI.

I have run (as root) YUM UPDATE (and I think I'm up to date!).

When I type "startx" here's the message I get:

Parse error on line 57
of section monitor
in file etc/X11/XF86Config

The vertical refresh keyword must be
followed by a list of numbers or ranges

EE Problem parsing the config file
EE Error parsing the config file

Fatal server error
no screens found




Sorry to be such a noob.... but, what do I do next?
