YDL 4 onscreen volume display doubled

Solved! Here's how to disable KDE's on-screen display (OSD) of
volume/brightness controls managed by 'gtkpbbuttons':

Go to KControl -> KDE Components -> Services
In the service manager control panel, stop and disable KMilo

I now get only one display shown for brightness/volume controls and
these are the ones displayed by 'gtkpbbuttons'.
