xserve not properly configured after YD4 install

Hello all. I recently installed YD4 on my G5 and for
some reason the graphical interface fails to start due
to a configuration issue. I am receiving the following
message when my machine attempts to start the
graphical login screen.

(EE) FBDEV(0): FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO: Invalid argument
(EE) FBDEV(0): Mode init failed

Fatal server error: 
AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for device 0

Can anyone help walk me thru the process of fixing
this error? I am not a Linux expert.
