First, you will need to upgrade your kernel through yum. You will then
need to run "ybin -v" (still as superuser). You should then upgrade
everything else with yum. Finally, edit /etc/modprobe.conf so that all
instances of dmasound_pmac are replaced with snd_powermac. The resulting
/etc/modprobe.conf should look like:

Note that unlike that post, it should be snd_powermac, not snd-powermac.
