Empty trash - Mozilla 1.6 (OT)

One other trick I saw with this problem in general (cannot empty trash) 
is to run "Fix Permissions" from the disk utility. You can also login as 
root and go to the Trash directory and do a 'rm'.

Or you can reboot, I guess.
