Powerbook 15" 2003 (Albook) XFree86 problems

Just a note that after a lot of frustration with previously trying to =20=

get X working on my 15" Al PB, the day has finally arrived!  In fact, I =20=

had gotten so frustrated with my previous attempts that I darn well =20
nearly gave up all together, even to the point of removing all my linux =20=

partitions and returning to OS X only.  I tried various steps such as =20=

updating the kernel, updating XFree (which was a real pain and never =20
was entirely successful), but in the end, all I really needed to do was =20=

change the "driver" from "Radeon" to "fbdev", after I did that, all was =20=

well.  My wish list now is someday getting 2d and 3d hardware =20
acceleration from my Radeon Mob 9600.

Also, one quick question: The sound card is definitely recognized or =20
found, as I can enable user interface feedback sounds (such as =20
clicking, and so forth), but I can't seem to get sound from a CD.  Does =20=

anybody have any suggestions?  Also, I know this has probably been =20
asked before, but is there a way of seeing my OS X partition in Linux?
