I found this link to a RPM file:

look for 'gaim-0.75-0.9.0.ppc.rpm'

Before you install, remove the old gaim bundled with yellowdog 301
(should be gaim 0.61) as follow:

[root@localhost /]# rpm -e gaim
then install the new one:
[root@localhost /]# rpm -i gaim-0.75-0.9.0.ppc.rpm
