how to download the ISO's

hi list

how can I download the ISO images from the yellowdog ftp server?
I tried it several times, but always the transfer stopped after a while..
I tried it with konqueror but the download resume do not work properly, so 
after the second or third resuming I lost the file :(

I never need a download manager until now. can somebody give me a advice or 
hint for a good one?
