Eject keycode

Hi.

Trying to set up some daemon (pbbuttonsd, evkeyd) to make use of the
extra keys of my keyboard, this should not be hard except that I am
having a bit of trouble to figure out how to use the "eject" key.
showkey reports weird keycodes, as in

    0 press
    1 release
    33 release
    0 release
    1 release
    33 release

Has anybody seen this (and got around it)?  It all happens on a new
Apple keyboard (stock G5, white, Apple Pro?).
