YDL installation issues with G5

>I have a serious issue with installing YDL 3.0.1 on a G5.

Several months have passed, and we are also having a similar problem. 
We have a dual 2GHz Xserve. I'm using 
yellowdog-3.0.1-sirius-20040316-PowerMacG5 discs.

Regardless of which install mode, we get:

... ok
copying OF device tree... done
starting cpu /cpus/PowerPC,G5... failed: 00000000
Initializing fake screen: ATY,Bluestar
address: 9c008000
calling quiesce...
returning 0x01400000 from prom_init

Nothing happens after that.


And I just paid $89.95 so I could download these images. :)

Does anyone have suggestions as to how to proceed?
