ATI XCLAIM 3D + troubles X

Still no luck with using my monitors on YDL on my ATI XCLAIM 3D +. I
tried the video frame buffer & all tweaks, but X still produces
distorted or black screens.

Looking over the net it seems that this card has some issues with X,
although it being a mac OF card. But no clear solution found to the
problem.

Linux boots wonderfully well, until it loads X. Then X switches the
screen to distortion.

I wonder, has anyone gotten this card to work with YDL? If so, how
did you do it?
