yum upgrade gaim

Hi Brandon,

What version of gaim are you running right now?  
  
  $ rpm -qa | grep gaim
gaim-0.76-1.fr

That is the latest from Fresh RPMs.  If you are not on that release try:

  # yum update gaim

The 'firefox' entry in your post below is only the download of the
header.  Have you tried "yum install firefox" to install firefox?
