However this is possible using bochs. An emulator to run windows .exe files 
and the complete operating system.
However bochs is quite slow so only to be used for small apps.
Another one wich is much faster but requires alot of configuring is QEMU......
QEMU can also be used together with WINE ( in user mode ) but it requires alot 
of work to get it working ( still working on it here )
WINE is simulation of the windows API.......
QEMU is much faster then BOCHS and with QEMU/WINE it would be even faster 
since it doesn't need to run an entire operating system.
BOCHS/QEMU/WINE are all open source so free.
