Thanks Neill,
I have been using PVFS for quite some time but did not try the PVFS2. I
guess it is a good chance to try and feel that out.

AFAIK, this can't be easily done at this time. However, the PVFS2
project does support PowerPC, so if you're looking for a parallel file
system (Lustre is a cluster file system) that you can use now, feel free
to give it a try. You can find more information online at the project
