Apt-get problem ( stil )

Sounds like you are timing out trying to connect to the YDL servers.  They
are usually swamped.  That's why I use YUM pointing to freshrpms.  If you
have to use apt, maybe set a cron job to run it at like 4 AM EST, can't
imagine the servers being nailed at that hour.
