I would be surprised if Cluster File Systems, Inc. (the developers of
Lustre) were porting it to OS X, as it's very heavily dependent on the
internals of the Linux kernel. Not to mention that the name was picked
to associate Linux and Clusters (thus, Lustre).

That said, Apple has expressed an interest to the PVFS2 development team
that it would like to see it running on OS X. There are no guarantees,
as there is currently no commitment on either side. But to start the
ball rolling, I'll be attending the WWDC next week
(http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/). I guess we'll see where it goes
from there!

Best regards,
-Neill.
