Woo hooo...finally found the winning combination to get YDL 3.01
installed and to boot! I still see a modprobe error loading
usbcore....but everything works...so I don't know what to think about
that...now to figure out how to upgrade my packages, see if I can get
xsane to recognize the Canoscan LIDE 30 scanner attached...

In case anyone it having install problems I will pass this along...I
had to use "install text" to get into the install...I told it NOT to
configure XFree then rebooted...I then ran the auto configuration
script to setup X....voila ... in KDE having a blast...way cooler than
running Mandrake on my 1.6ghz Athlon.... My dual G4 with smp processor
rocks....

Any suggestions on a good stable "newer kernel" revision that would
enable more features? Does RPM Find have YDL rpms as well....
