My YDL 3.0.1 installed gPhoto 2.1.0,
Do you have this, if so, is it unable to meet your needs?
You can download the source and compile it.

you will need libghoto 2.1.4 and gphoto 2.1.4

Total time to compile should be less than 30 minutes
