Hi Greg

I've compiled and installed one of the latest Xfce4 releases on my ibook g3=
=20
800MHz because kde ist just too slow on that mashine. It went quite straith=
=20
forward. As far as I remember I had to install some kind of libaries to=20
sucsassfully run ./configure.=20
I think I found most of them on www.rpmfind.org (?). Also make sure you=20
download all the nice plugins for the Xfce panel!
You should also download and compile the "rox"-filemanager (extreemly fast,=
=20
lightweight). Search for it on sourcerforge. By the way: rox can be used al=
so=20
as a desktop (icons etc)
After that procedure you will have a fast and nice looking small desktop!
