Where to get software for YDL?

I installed the latest binutils from the PPC build of Fedora. Not 
recommended, but it worked. Most other Fedora RPMs have failed to 
install with numerous failed dependancies. And, of course, none of 
these RPMs have been tested on real live PPC hardware. In fact forget I 
ever suggested it. I'm not even going to send this e-mail.
