QTSS on YDL

Ed, 

I was able to compile DSS-5.0 (on my freshrpms-updated YDL3.0) up to the 
final link, where I got a bunch of unresolved symbol errors.  I assume that 
I am missing some library somewhere, but  I can't figure it out.  I haven't 
tried the newest DSS 5.0.1, but I don't imagine that would help.
