ATI driver problem

Actually, it's a pci and a rage pro. I would know, I have that same 
comp.
The reason is is that the stock XServer for YDL 3 just doesn't have 
support for it (neither does quartz extreme and opengl in mac os x).
I myself use the fbdev driver, and I think I get a pretty decent 
framerate...
